The ingredients in Advantage shampoo for Cats and Kittens are specially formulated to kill fleas and ticks on cats and kittens over 12 weeks. The active Advantage flea shampoo ingredients are Pyrethrins, Piperonyl butoxide and N-Octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide, which are a mixture of chemicals that are toxic to insects like fleas and ticks.
