The Nobivac Feline 1-HCPCh vaccine is shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cats 9 weeks of age or older against feline rhinotracheitis virus (feline herpesvirus type 1), feline calicivirus, feline panleukopenia virus (feline parvovirus) and Chlamydophila felis (previously known as Chlamydia psittaci).

Diseases Prevented
- Feline Rhinotracheitis: Caused by feline herpesvirus type 1, leading to respiratory infections, sneezing, and eye inflammation
- Feline Calicivirus: Causes respiratory infections, mouth ulcers, and can lead to pneumonia
- Feline Panleukopenia (feline distemper): Caused by feline parvovirus, a highly contagious and often fatal disease affecting the immune system and gastrointestinal tract
- Chlamydophila felis: Previously classified as Chlamydia psittaci, causes conjunctivitis and respiratory issues
Ingredients
- Modified live feline rhinotracheitis virus (feline herpesvirus type 1)
- Modified live feline calicivirus
- Modified live feline panleukopenia virus (feline parvovirus)
- Avirulent live Chlamydophila felis (previously Chlamydia psittaci)
- Gentamicin (preservative)
- Sterile diluent
Dosage and Administration
- Transfer the entire contents of the sterile diluent vial to the Nobivac Feline 1-HCPCh vial aseptically.
- Mix gently until dissolved.
- Initial vaccination: Inject 1 dose (1 mL) subcutaneously (SQ) or intramuscularly (IM) at 9 weeks of age or older.
- Second vaccination: Inject 1 dose (1 mL) SQ or IM 3 to 4 weeks after the first dose.
- Annual revaccination has historically been recommended. Consult your veterinarian regarding revaccination needs.
- Does NOT include needles or syringes.
- Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.
Storage and Handling
- Store at 2-8C (35-46F)
- Do not freeze
- Inactivate unused contents before disposal
Precautions and Warnings
- Do not vaccinate pregnant cats
- Contains gentamicin as a preservative
- Some reports suggest administration of veterinary biologicals may induce injection-site fibrosarcomas in cats
- Vaccination may cause anaphylaxis or other immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions. Emergency treatment with epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may be required
- Do not mix with other products except as specified on the label
